A virtual summer camp was held for students from KG and up and for Young Adults from July 26 to August 8. It was a tremendous success, thanks to the dedicated and innovative hard work of a team of catechists, Catholic School teachers and volunteers -- and of course the nearly 2,500 children and young adults that participated.
Fr. Thomas Sebastian, OFM Cap, the parish priest at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ras Al Khaimah, has written a beautiful and inspring poem about the Covid-19 Crisis.
Thank you to Fr. Thomas for sharing your work of poetry.

Dear Catechists,
I hope you are all healthy and surviving well during these very challenging days. We certainly had a memorable Lent and are having an unprecedented Easter season.
To say that I miss seeing you all would be a great understatement. So much of what we do is collaborative. I think we honestly love working together for the benefit of the children, teens and adults who participate in Christian Formation.
Hopefully we will soon return to a more normal situation in which we will be able to meet face to face.
In the meantime I want to leave you with a thought about the Resurrection of our Lord.
In Matthew 28:8-10 we read that the women, after encountering an angel in the empty tomb, hurry to tell the disciples the good news. On the way they meet the risen Jesus. He simply says, “Greetings”. Imagine the joy that they felt!
There were three very important actions that took place.
First the women took hold of his feet, they worshipped him. Next Jesus told them to not be afraid, and to go and tell his brothers to go to Galilee.
The women worshipped Jesus, they listened to him, and they followed what he told them to do.
Matthew gives us a good prescription for this Easter Season; worship, listen and follow.
And remember, even during these strange days, as Jesus told the women, “Do not be afraid “.Happy Easter everyone!
